Obituary of Zagorka Stojanovic
After a long but courageous battle with health issues, Zagorka Stojanovic passed away peacefully at Hospice in Vaughan at the age of 84. She was the loving mother to Biljana (Steven) and Bojan Stojanovic and grandma to Nikola. Zagorka was born in Bosnia and worked her way to become a supreme court judge there. She cared for her children and always made sure they had everything they needed. As they got older, she would take trips to Europe to escape the heaviness of her career and home life. She loved to travel and would always return rejuvenated and full of life. She enjoyed time with family and friends telling and hearing stories. Zagorka had a very curious personality. She always wanted to learn about Space and literature.Zagorka enjoyed her daily walks around her neighborhood. She loved being outdoors. She had a heart of gold and was always willing to help. Even in her final days, she was offering comfort to one of her many nurses.
In keeping with Zagorka's wishes, visitation will be held at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905 354 2133) on Wednesday April 20, 2022 between 6:00PM and 8:00PM with burial taking place on Thursday April 21, 2022 at 1:00PM in Lundy's Lane Cemetery in Niagara Falls. Zagorka's family would like to send sincere thanks to Hospice Vaughan and to the Stojanovic, NJegovanovic, Topalovic, Pandurevic, Bremec, Cvoro, Maric, Knezevic, Vidakovic and Kulina families for all the love and compassion shown to Zagorka in her final moments here with us.

To my professor.. I will miss your laugh, charm and witty humour. Most of all I will miss your honesty and strength of love and family that now lives on in your beautiful children. I hope you and Hilda are having fun and smiling down on us. We will see you again Zaga.
