I am so sorry to hear of Victor’s passing and send my deepest condolences to Lidia and the whole family. I was privileged to be his next door neighbour in Niagara Falls and always took pleasure in chatting with him and sometimes sharing a beer or two. A short prayer:
Bless this mariner as he sails into the sunset and the Lord’s presence. Bless who knew him and bless all who go down to the sea in ship’s. Let Victor come in peace and safety to the Lord’s Eternal Haven. Amen
Steer a steady coarse Victor and forever keep the wind at your back.
Gareth

Hey Vic!
We have been friends for almost 20 years, and stayed in touch all that
Time despite our different postings.
We learned about this dreadful sickness almost at the same time, both at different places in our bodies but very agressive in its impact.
We shared our hopes , our fears, our progresses almost every day throughout this last winter. I was jealous of your bicycle rides and especially your walks with your loyal dog. I will always remember those talks with you Vic they sustained me throughout a lot and I hope it did the same for you.
In the end you went and I stayed, why??? Nobody knows… I have been in the hospital 34 days today and they are still looking for new signs of cancer… none but my vertebral column is a mess…
Good Sailings my friend please look out for me! You are the best!
