Obituary of Violet Bloch
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Violet Bloch (née Szili) on November 5, 2022 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 80. She will be forever remembered with love, and missed terribly by her son Rick.Violet loved the outdoors, watching the wildlife and feeding the squirrels, and spending the day enjoying a local park or other natural surroundings. She found joy in the small pleasures life had to offer, keeping herself busy with crafts, gardening, and watching shows such as Antiques Roadshow and Matlock. Later on in life, she discovered a passion for nature photography, capturing the beauty of her surroundings wherever she found it.
We would like to convey our gratitude to all of those involved in Violet's care, and to those involved after her passing. There are many of you, and we are thankful to you all. Let us remember her with more joy than sorrow as she would have desired.
In keeping with her wishes, burial will take place at Willow's Rest on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. If desired, donations may be made to Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Centre.
