Saddened for our loss. Tiina was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, aunt…words can not say. She is loved and missed by many
Tiina was a lovely, accomplished lady. We shared many evenings over the years with Jocko and Tiina watching selections from Jumbo Video. One month we would bring a bottle of wine to the Pischedda’s while they provided the videos and vice versa the following month. These were jovial fun filled evenings discussing our offsprings’ accomplishments,, on occasion their challenges and always how we had survived the week.
I remember vividly, skiing with Mark and our son Chris at Kissing Bridge as well as being gently tossed across the dojo floor by black belt John at the YMCA. Their sons and family are much admired, and justifiably by Tiina and Jocko. Tiina would on occasion, when prompted, give us a preview on the piano of a Christmas concert she was directing at the elementary school where she taught. Jocko’s skill as a sculptor in both bronze and terracotta complimented Tina’s musical talent.
These many cherished memories will forever be remembered as will those of our dear friend Tiina. The entire Bates family remembers you fondly Tiina.
Sincerely, Paul, Hilda Bates & family
Deepest Condolences to Pischedda family
