Obituary of Thomas Alexander Patryluk

Thomas Alexander Patryluk, aged 66, passed away suddenly after a brief battle with cancer. He departed from this world on March 15, leaving behind a legacy of love, resilience, and cherished memories.

Predeceased by his beloved parents Alexander and Margaret, Thomas leaves behind his devoted wife of 25 years, Cathy. He is also survived by his adoring daughter, Alexis. He will be deeply missed by his dear friends, Charlene and Dan, whose companionship meant the world to him.

Tom dedicated his life to his craft as a drywall finisher, a skill passed down to him by his father during his teenage years. Beyond his professional life, Tom loved his dogs, he had rescued many “bully” type dogs in his lifetime.

Known for his passionate spirit, stubborn determination, and unwavering opinions, Tom was a man who fiercely advocated for what he believed in, even if it meant standing alone. His zest for life was matched only by his love of living life to the highest.

In keeping with Tom’s wishes, cremation will take place, a celebration of Thomas's life will be held at a later date to honour his memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara, reflecting Tom’s compassion for animals.

Though Thomas may no longer be with us in person, his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
