Obituary of Sandra Kelly
After a brief illness, Sandra passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024 at the age of 78. She is now reunited with her beloved late husband of 30 years, Michael. Sandra leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family. She was a loving mother to Sarah (Aaron) and Matthew (Crystal). Cherished "Grandma Kelly" to her grandchildren, Devin and Jacob. She was a much loved sister to Norm, Bob (Mary Ann), and Candy. Sandra will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Predeceased by her parents Doug and Ruth Kelly, her stepmother Betty Kelly, and her brother, Stan Kelly.Sandra's friendly demeanor and dedication shone through in every role she held. She spent 15 years as a teller at CIBC. Later, Sandra found joy as a Manager and Instructor at Curves in Niagara Falls, where she formed many lifelong friendships. Sandra had a creative spirit, and gained a reputation as the "rock lady." She and Michael were proud members of the Port Colborne Rocks Club. Together, they painted stones and scattered them along Niagara's beaches, spreading beauty wherever they went. Sandra was also an avid Toronto Blue Jays fan.
Sandra will be remembered for her loving and kind nature. She was never one to display anger and always radiated warmth wherever she went. Sandra's magnetic personality drew people to her effortlessly. She had a gift for bringing people together, and once you were her friend, you were a friend for life. Every year she'd arrange for a big breakfast gathering with friends, which was a testament to her commitment to nurturing these relationships. Sandra was a true "friend magnet," and her genuine care and compassion touched the lives of all who knew her.
Cremation has taken place and a private funeral will be held at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Welland. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the ALS Society.

Sending condolences to the Kelly family, on the passing of Sandra. We hope and pray God will be kind to all in the days ahead. We first met Sandra years ago when her dad and brother worked for me at the Port Colborne Historical and Marine Museum. Our lives were brought back together here at Princess Bay. She was a joy to know and will be missed.
My sincerest condolences to everyone who knew and loved Sandra. I met her a year ago when I started working with VON. We shared a lot of laughs during that time. She was such a kind soul, so genuine. She will be missed.

Deepest Sympathy to the Kelly family on the very sad loss of Sandra. Sandra was such a kind, beautiful lady. We have known her all of her life and grew up with her and her family at Sherkston.
Once your were her friend she was always a true friend. Had not seen her for about 50 years as we became adults and she instantly ran up to me and gave me a huge hug and we recalled so many happy memories.
May Sandra rest in Peace. Heaven has another Angel.
