Obituary of Robert T. Hunt
May 18 1953 - December 13 2021Peacefully surrounded by his family, Robert passed away on Monday December 13, 2021 at the St. Catharines Hospital, at the age of 68. Beloved husband of 46 years to Fran. Devoted father to Adam (Jennifer) and Amy (Nino). Also known as, “He’s the man” and adored Papa of Ava, Natalia, Jazmyn and Luca. Robert will be missed by his sister Virginia, brother-in-law and sisters-in-law; Sandy, Jean (Sam), Steve (Aris), and by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Robert and Ellen, his parents-in-law John and Sophie, sister-in-law Louise (Emil) and brother-in-law John.
All who knew Robert will remember him by his sense of humour, skilled hands and charismatic smile. He had the ability to always make people laugh and the world was enriched by his energy and presence. Robert enjoyed nature and he had a way with animals. He would spend each day out in his garage woodworking by the fire with coffee in hand, ready for his family and friends to stop in for a visit. Robert’s favourite moments of his life included spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandchildren, who were the apple of his eye.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. Online condolences may be shared on Robert’s tribute page found at essentialsniagara.com

“Little Bob” as I knew him back in the early ‘70s. I remember listening to 45s of The Beach Boys and Safaris in his bedroom. The best memories of my childhood with the Hunt family. I miss all of you.
