Obituary of Richard Gordon Manley
Richard Manley, a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 28, 2024, at the age of 57. Richard's legacy lives on through his surviving family members: his devoted sons Ian and Nigel Manley, his loving parents William and Lorraine Manley, and his cherished siblings William Manley, Laura (Ivo) Coia, Charles (Elaine) Manley, Thomas Manley, and Diane (Rob) Englehart. He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Richard is now reunited with his late son, Eric Manley.Richard was born in Niagara Falls in 1967. For the past decade, Richard called Alberta home before returning to the Niagara Region. Richard's life was one coloured by his love for the outdoors, a passion for nature, and a knack for finding joy in the simple things. Richard's love for nature was matched only by his passion for tinkering with watches. Richard will be remembered for his infectious sense of humour and for his love of his family. He will be truly missed but never forgotten.
In keeping with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

I worked with Rich for some years back at Cymat, and despite the intimidating tattoos when I first met him, it turns out Rich is one of the most friendly and funny guys I have ever known. We got along well together and he taught me a lot. We will miss you dearly, Rich.
Till we meet again. We will go cycling soon.
