Obituary of Pamela O'Donoghue
O’Donoghue, Pamela L.Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, Pam passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019, in the Trillium Palliative Care Unit, at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 70. Beloved wife of John for over 50 years. Loving mother of Michael (Liz), and Terry (Heather). Special Grandma to James, Jessica and Hayley. Pam is survived by her father, James Pool, and by her brother Gary (Diane) Pool. She was predeceased by her mother Marjorie, and her sister Elaine. A forever resident of Niagara Falls, Pamela spent many years volunteering within her community. She dedicated time helping families through Tender Wishes, and recently she would be found, enjoying her time managing the euchre program at the Coronation 50 Plus Recreation Centre. Pam will be greatly missed by her extended family and her special circle of friends: which includes her high school friends, exercise friends, euchre friends and Hot Rod Girls. In accordance with Pam’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). A private graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Pam’s Life, which will take place at the Coronation Centre, 5925 Summer Street, Niagara Falls, ON (Summer Street entrance) on Saturday, September 7, 2019, from 12:30-2:30p.m. Memorial donations may be given to the Salvation Army through the Eventide Home. Our most sincerest condolences to John and family on the loss of Pam. It’s been a pleasure spending our Wednesday and Friday afternoons at the Coronation Centre playing euchre with her and we can’t even express how much she will be missed. RIP Pam, another angel has gained her wings.
