Obituary of Alfred Stanley Snow
On August 30, 2021 Alfred (Al, Alfie) Stanley Snow passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family. He leaves behind his beloved wife Elaine, his children Darlene (Jim Nelson) and Allan (Chantelle Hamm). Al's grandchildren and great grandchildren were his pride and joy. Much loved Papa to Michael, Jimmy (Brittany), Lisa (Tyler), Bentley, Ava, Braxton, Mila, and awaiting a baby girl in September.Alfred was born in beautiful Cape Breton, Nova Scotia on November 24, 1942, son of Fred and Lena Snow. He was the youngest of seven siblings who are; George, June, Mildred, Fred, Robert and James.
Alfred came to Ontario in 1960, retiring in 1994 from General Motors. He enjoyed playing golf, watching his favourite sport teams and spending time with family. He was a member of the Thorold Legion Branch 17.
In keeping with Alfred's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905) 354 2133. A private family graveside service will be held in honour of Alfred at Lakeview Cemetery in Thorold.
