In Loving Memory of

Mark Gregory Grinham

1948-2022

Obituary of Mark Gregory Grinham

Passed away peacefully at the Welland Hospital on February 1, 2022 with his loving family at his side. Devoted soulmate of 48 years to Jacqueline (nee Cosgrove). Loving father of Michelle Grinham (Darcy Black). Dear brother of Judy (Dave Laver), Donna (Walter Lewis), Ken Campbell (Larry Duwyn) and Dan Grinham (Kim Woods). Predeceased by his parents Margaret (nee Terry) and Charles Grinham.
Mark spent most of his working career at Canada Post as a millwright. He adored his wife and daughter. He gave everything he had for his family and then three years ago, he splurged on himself. He bought his “dream car”, a Mazda Miata. Mark and Jackie enjoyed many hours cruising around. They would leave the house with no destination. After a few hours, they would set the GPS to head back home. Those were precious times they enjoyed, and they made many lasting memories.
Respecting Mark’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his Life will take place in the summer. As an expression of sympathy and honoring his love for animals, donations to the Welland & District Humane Society would be appreciated by the family. Essentials Cremation and Burial Services 221 Division St., Welland were entrusted with the arrangements and care of Mark and his family.

To Jackie, Michelle and the Grinham family.
My deepest condolences on hearing of your loss. When Diane told me of your devastating news, Mark’s smile along with his signature laugh came to mind.
We have lost touch for many years, but my thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of sadness.
Stay strong and stays safe.

We are so very sorry to hear about Mark. Mike has many great memories of working and driving to work with Mark over the years. Some of the best times he had at work were with Mark. Always in a good mood and he was upbeat the last few times he video chatted with him. We will always remember him. Thinking of you Jackie and Michelle.

Mark, wasn’t only my uncle but my God father. A very loving kind hearted man. He would always go above and beyond for the people he loved, and just about anyone.
No matter our distance he would come all the way down from Furgus to Montréal and help me with my school projects.
I’ll cherish the good and beautiful healthy memories. I’ll always cherish the summer I came down and stayed with the two of you. I’ll always remember how happy, and proud uncle Mark was to show me your new forever home.
no matter the distance, I love you always❤
Sending lots of love
