In Loving Memory of
Lorraine MacMillan

Obituary of Lorraine MacMillan
Lorraine MacMillanPassed away peacefully at Welland Hospital on May 23, 2021 at the age of 76. Dearly missed by the love of her life of 60 years, David MacMillan. Cherished mother to Brad (Kim) and Heather LeMoine (Darryl). Devoted Nana to Brittany, Holly, Brooke, Zach, and Alex. Lorraine will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Lorraine was loving, kind, and embracing of all. Her inner strength and love of life was infectious and will live on in those who knew her. She was well known and endeared at many sports parks throughout her life; whether watching her children, grandchildren or David, her presence will be sorely missed.
Around the holidays she always lit up like a Christmas tree! She was affectionately called “Mrs. Claus”, not only for her festive Santa hat that she would proudly wear, but especially for her enjoyment of giving. She made the holiday season special for everyone.
Lorraine was a devoted and loving Nana. She was incredibly proud of her grandchildren and would beam at the mere mention of their names. She was particularly proud of each of their artistic abilities, deriving great joy surrounding herself with their creations.
Thank you to family and friends for their continued support and well wishes during this time. We also thank Barb and the ‘Housewives of Niagara’ for their kindness in befriending Lorraine and making the move to Niagara Falls incredibly comforting.
Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133) has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations to Project Share in Niagara Falls would be greatly appreciated by the family. A memorial service will take place in the future on a date that is yet to be determined. Online condolences may be shared to Lorraine’s tribute page at EssentialsNiagara.com.

Huge hugs to the MacMillian family, especially to Dundalk Grandpa. Lorraine warmly welcomed us to her little country kitchen. Her cookies were delicious, her jokes hilarious, and most of all she kept Dave in line with her dry wit. She will be missed. Rest in Peace, Lorraine.
