Obituary of Lorraine Elizabeth Beaton
BEATON, Lorraine Elizabeth "Rainey"Peacefully surrounded by the love and support of her family, Lorraine passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at St. Joseph's Hospital, in her 82nd year. Lorraine has been reunited with her husband, George and her son, Georgie. She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Bob (Lyn), Claudia, Dale (John), Rick (Martina), John (Linda), Tim (Cindy), Jane (Albert) and also by her sisters, brothers, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Joseph's for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with Lorraine's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services- 905-354-2133. A celebration of Lorraine's life and internment will be held at a later date. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be given to the Juravinski Cancer Centre.

To Claudia, Dale and families, my condolences on the loss of your Mom. I have fond memories of hanging out at your house on Mary St. As if your mom needed more kids in the house, but she handled it gracefully. She reminded me a lot of my own mom. Again, my sympathies.

So sorry for the families loss. I always loved Rainy. She had such a great laugh and always knew how to make someone smile. I wish everyone strength during this time.
I was heart broken by this sad news. Remembering Lorraine, sitting down outside; her and I sharing a cup of tea, that we enjoyed… Wishing you peace, as you grieve this loss.
