Obituary of Joy Adelle Robinson
With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Joy Adelle Robinson (nee Dennis) at home surrounded by her husband and daughters on Saturday, July 24, 2021. Joy was the beloved wife for over 30 years of Alan Jose. Cherished mother of Liane Robinson and Jennifer Rienzo (Rick), and loved step-mother of Christian (Leah Wyght) and Rachel Jose. Joy was an adored and treasured Gramma of Cassandra Rienzo, Julia and Tanner Bonaldo, Sara, Olivia, and Joshua Jose, Rachel Carter, Emma and Zachary Beards and Kyden Wyght. She was a special aunt that will be remembered by Maggie Dennis, Chris St. Onge and their families. Joy will also be dearly missed by dear friends Ollie Forrester, Gloria Robinson, the Macfarlane family of South River, and her Aunt Adelle Lindengren of Florida. Joy was predeceased by her parents Bruce and Grace Dennis, and brothers Randy, Roddy, as well as her good friends, Cindy and Larry Cornell.Joy grew up and lived in Niagara Falls, working at CIBC with her "special ladies". Her life was dedicated to family and her friends, and made it known to all of them through her special ways; gifts, sense of humour and laughter. She will always be remembered for her incredible beauty inside and out.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). As per Joy’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service. A celebration of Joy’s life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the care team at the Walker Family Cancer Centre and her palliative care team for the compassionate support they provided while she was at home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Walker Family Cancer Centre or to a charity of your choosing would be appreciated by the family. Al and family, sorry to hear about Joy. Like her name, she always made people smile. I worked with Joy at CIBC and we enjoyed many happy times.

I’m so sorry to hear the passing of joy. After living next door to you guys for so long, I was in and out of her house all the time hanging out with Liane and Jenny have some really good memories.
