Obituary of Joseph (Joe) Randy Steven Morley

Passed away peacefully with his daughters by his side on February 27, 2024 at the age of 62. Left to mourn the loss of Joe are his daughters Tara Guthrie (Steven) and Christa Morley (Ryan Mickiewicz), who made sure Joe wasn't alone in his final days. Known affectionately as "Papa Joe" to his beloved grandchildren Leah Guthrie, Bryanna Mickiewicz, and Lilli Mickiewicz, he treasured every moment spent with them. Cherished fiancé to Lisa. Joe will be lovingly remembered by his siblings David Morley (Tina), Helen Geikie (Karl), and Rob Morley. Dear uncle to Rodney (Nicole), Kadie, Kaitlyn, Karlayne (Miles), Michael and Stephanie. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by his parents Doreen and Gerald Morley, and by his brother Peter Morley.

Joe was a quiet man who enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. He shared an unbreakable bond with his brother Rob, with whom he spent countless cherished moments. Together, they formed an inseparable duo, their camaraderie a source of strength and solace throughout their lives. They were not just brothers but kindred spirits, navigating life's journey side by side.

Among Joe's passions were fishing and hockey. While he delighted in his children's love for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Joe's heart belonged to the Montreal Canadiens. Above all else, Joe will be remembered for his love of his family, especially his adored grandbabies.

Joe's family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Trillium floor nurses and palliative care team at Greater Niagara General Hospital for their compassionate care.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
