Obituary of Elaine Creighton
Elaine passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 27, 2024, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her husband, Edward Creighton (2012). Elaine was a loving mother to John Creighton (Tracey) and Barrie Creighton (Shelly). Cherished Grandma to Justice, Fox, Jess, Lauren, and Jake. Beloved great-grandmother to Everly and Reece. Elaine is also survived by her brother, John Mangar (the late Ida).Elaine will be remembered for her friendly nature and her great sense of humour. Elaine's brilliance at Jeopardy was well-known among her friends and family. She never missed an episode, always ensuring she was home in time to tune in. In addition to her passion for trivia, Elaine enjoyed taking leisurely walks, cooking, and spending time with her family.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family burial will be held. A celebration of Elaine's life will be arranged at a later date. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society.

Thinking of you at this most difficult time.
Thinking of you Barrie and John – many memories of your mom’s wicked sense of humour cracking me up so many times. She was so special to my mom and will miss getting into old stories when we’d bump into each other.
Elaine will always be remembered as “Mrs. C” to me. I’ve known her for 38 years. No matter what was happening in my life or hers we always found a way each year to reconnect. She was a tell it like it is, down to earth lady and will be greatly missed.
We have a lot of fond memories of times spent with Ted and Elaine many years ago.
My condolences to the Creighton family. I am so lucky to become a friend to Elaine from her late husband Ted. I have great memories when we would see each other at the grocery store. I sent her many jokes to her email as she lived to laugh. Today I will remember those memories of a loving and funny lady.
