Duane Allan ThibertJanuary 16th, 1951 - December 21st, 2020
Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Greater Niagara General Hospital on December 21st, 2020, at the age of 70. Loving husband to Bonnie, and father of Robert Thibert (Vicki Storrie) and Jonathan Duane Thibert. Cherished Grandfather to Stephanie, Tiffany, Ashley and Nelson Thibert and Great Grandpa to Zackary, Lily, and Aryan. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Peggy Thibert, and his sister Donna Thibert/Fisher.
His family is proud of his dedication and service of 25 years to the volunteer fire fighters in Niagara Falls/Chippawa at Station 4. Duane also enjoyed fishing, swimming in the Chippawa Crick, Y Not’s on Sundays with friends, and spending time with his family.
The Thibert family would like to thank Greater Niagara General Hospital, especially the kind and patient nurses in the I.C.U, and Hannah with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, whom has been entrusted with arrangements (905-354-2133). As per Duane's wishes, cremation has taken place and A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family. Something just told me to look online today and I found your obituary. Well I guess I am the last one left of the six of us. Always will remember you with love and laughter cousin.

Sorry to hear this sad news. I fondly remember all the days we spent swimming and jumping off the bridges as well as our many years together in the Chippawa Volunteer Fire Department. He will be missed.

Duane was one of the best men I have known his love for his family and friends were never questioned I will always cherish the memories and laughs we shares to Bonnie and the boys my thoughts and prayers are with you all sending my love
