Obituary of Danielle Mathilda Brown
It is with great sadness that the family of Danielle (Dany) Brown announce that she passed away peacefully on March 4th with her loving family by her side. While she fought a long, courageous and difficult battle with illness, she retained the same joie de vivre, sense of humour and bravery that she did with everything in her life. She will be greatly missed by her loving and devoted husband Ron, who is grateful for the more than 50 wonderful years they shared. Together, they shared more experiences than words can describe including skiing, travel to exotic locations, music and a love for their favourite sports teams. Nothing pleased Dany more than a day on the slopes with her family or enjoying a round of golf with friends.
She will be greatly missed by her son Jeff, daughter-in-law Becky, daughter Sarah (Gildea), son-in-law James and her four beautiful grandchildren Summer, Cash, Millie and Georgia.
Dany loved life, and it was a life well lived. She was beautiful, intelligent, vivacious and a joy to be around. She was kind and generous and always put others needs before her own. Everyone who knew her loved her, especially her many long-time friends who cared for and supported each other through good times and bad. When they were together there was nothing but joy and laughter.
Dany was very appreciative of the many wonderful people at Juravinski Hospital, the Walker Family Cancer Center and Port Colborne Hospital for the dedication and kindness they showed during her long and difficult journey. As per her wishes Dany was cremated and her ashes will be scattered at a future time in a private ceremony. Many thanks to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services for guiding the family through this sad time.
Dany, while you rest in peace your memory and legacy will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved you

To the Brown family: Dany was one of my favorite people at Niagara College! For many years, I taught into, and along side of Dany, in the Office Administration Program. Please accept my heartfelt sympathies.
My sincerest condolences to the family. I met Dany through PSI/IAAP and had the honour and privilege to be mentored by her when I taught at Niagara College. Dany was always so positive, inspiring and supportive. Loved her laughter and the joy she always shared no matter what was going on. A wonderful person. May you cherish the memories and find comfort in some way. I am sure she is sharing that laughter up in heaven.

I knew Ron Brown from Eastdale when we chummed around together. I met him a few months ago, and he talked about his wife. He told me that she was suffering with cancer. So I send my condolences to Ron and his family. Life is short.
