Obituary of Cindy Crerar

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Cindy at her home on June 28, 2022 at the age of 58. Cindy was the beloved wife and best friend of 22 years to Ron Crerar. Loving mother to Samantha Crerar. Cherished daughter of Marlene Fletcher and the late Dennis Fletcher. Dear sister to Sherry Savoie and Terry Fletcher. Much loved aunt to Patricia Morgan and Shannon Morgan. Cindy will also be missed by her furbaby Lucy. Special thanks to Cindy's close friends Arthur and Sharon Byng for their kindness, support and friendship over the years. Predeceased by her step-sister Barb Fletcher and her grandfather Walter Kovaks.

Cindy was born on April 23, 1964 in London, Ontario. She later moved to Niagara, where she met Ron while they were both working at Henneges Automotive. They were married on February 14, 2000 - the wedding of the millennium. Cindy also spent time working at Alcom, a job which she loved. Cindy had a real zest for life. She will be remembered for her fearlessness and for being a true fighter when she was passionate about something. Cindy was so caring and giving, always putting others before herself. She was also nurturing, which could often be seen through her love for any living creature. She loved her walks, and especially enjoyed walking near the locks in Port Colborne, where she could watch the boats go by.

In keeping with Cindy's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-734-1031). Donations in Cindy's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
