Obituary of Christine Whittle

It is with great sadness that our family shares that Christine passed away at the Welland Hospital on Friday, October 14, 2022. She was a loving mother of Victoria Whittle, Angela Whittle (Frank) and step-mother of Alfonso (Tia). She will be missed by her grandchildren, Anastasia, Ella, Joshua, Jennifer, Taylor, and also by Nancy and Roger who were both lifelong friends. Christine has been reunited with her late husband Ken, her daughter Nicole, and her parents Maryanne and Scott.

Christine was born and raised in Newfoundland and was 1 of 13 siblings. Through all the years Christine would keep in touch with her family by talking to them on the phone. She loved telling stories and spending time with her family. She enjoyed cuddles with her fur grandbaby, Hope as she would always jump on the couch and be right next to her. We will remember Christine for some of her favourite moments in life which included; listening to country music, watching UK shows and sitcoms, colouring, playing cards and shopping. We will remember her baking in her little red dress and creating many sugary delights! Christine also enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, appreciating the beauty of roses and most of all, she loved taking her scooter down by the water.

She will be missed by those who knew and loved her. In accordance with Christine's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will not be a visitation or ceremony. Her ashes will be laid to rest at a later date. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.
