Obituary of Anne Marie Stoneman

STONEMAN, Anne Marie (nee Gow)- After a courageous battle with cancer, Anne passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Saturday August 17, 2019 at the Douglas Memorial Hospital, at the age of 68. Loving mother of Julie Martineau and Jamie (Heather) Stoneman. Special Gramma-Gramma of Austin, Mason, Clayton, Olivia and Nathan. Dear sister of Mildred and Susan. Anne will be remembered by many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Jim, Joanne, Judy, Marilyn, Mildred, Joe and Josh, for all their support with helping caring for Anne through the past year. Also to Dr. Scher and the care team from Douglas Memorial Hospital, who all went above and beyond to ensure our mom was comfortable in her final days. In accordance with Anne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will be held at a later date, at Greenwood Cemetery, Fort Erie.
