Obituary of Christopher "Chris" Trout

It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Chris Trout, surrounded by his family at home on July 10, 2021.
Devoted soulmate of Sue (Kennedy). Loving father of Alicia (Rod McRae) and Amber Trout. Very Proud Papa of Emma and Callum. Sadly missed by his Brothers and Sisters; Jennifer Warner, Geoff (Marilyn), Ross (Margaret), Kathy Trout (Derrick TenBroeck) and Jill (Jim Baldin). He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He will be reunited with his parents, his twin brother Norm and his niece Heather.

Chris lived his life to the fullest, his own way, with his own set of rules. Like second plays low, keep left protected and never trump your partner's ace.
Chris’s idea of a perfect day was getting in the car with Sue and seeing where the road took them. Usually ending the day at the Queen’s where they would watch his Leafs play her Bruins.
Four years ago the game changed and he started a tough and courageous journey, made easier by the love and support of his family and friends. His family would like to thank his healthcare team, especially his PSWs Jeff and Tammy, Christopher the Nurse and his Doctors at Juravinski. Chris’s words to live by, Go Leafs Go! and Remember don’t drive like my brother!

In keeping with Chris’ wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place on July 17th at 2:00pm at Fireman's Park (outside, to the right of the building), in Niagara Falls. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Niagara S.P.C.A or Warner Cemetery will be appreciated by the family. Essentials Cremation and Burial Services Inc. 102A-4300 Drummond Rd., Niagara Falls, were entrusted with his funeral arrangements.
