Obituary of David Stephen "Puff Daddy" Nemeth
It is with immense sadness we announce that after a long, hard fight, David Stephen "Puff Daddy" Nemeth peacefully passed away surrounded by the love and comfort of his family at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Friday April 14, 2023; a few months shy of his 62nd birthday. He has been reunited with his dear wife Patti (2008) and his beloved mother Pamela (2015). Dave was the proud father of Nicholas (Martika Duguay) and cherished Papa Puff to Lincoln and "Baby Girl" coming in July 2023, devoted son of Joseph Nemeth, loving brother of Sally (Ed), Diane (Alf) and John (Lorraine).David was born in Niagara Falls, Ontario in 1961 and he was a lifelong resident. He graduated from NFCVI and had odd jobs here and there but was fortunate enough to be hired by General Motors of Canada. He continued a career with them for over 30 years and retired only a few years ago. He made lifelong friendships there. Puff enjoyed traveling out West to visit with longtime friend Ron, golfing and then meeting at Chip N' Charlies for a beverage with the guys. He was a huge fan of the Chicago Blackhawks and would never miss a game. Although he loved being in the company of his friends, his pride and joy was Lincoln. He had a great sense of humor and will be terribly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him but especially by his pups.
In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. A celebration of Puff's life will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 1:00 p.m until 4:00 p.m at Kingsbridge Park in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
His family would like to send their sincere thanks to "The Originals" who were always with Puff giving their support and compassion from diagnosis to the bitter end. In lieu of flowers, take in a round of golf or just sit with a beverage and toast to Puff.
