Obituary of Kwesi Hamani Quintyn
It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Kwesi Hamani Quintyn at his home on June 11, 2024, at the age of 50. Kwesi was the husband of Violet for 18 years and the loving father to Myles, Riley, Jordyn, as well as Zakai, and Isaiah. Kwesi is survived by his parents, in-laws, his sister and niece.Kwesi dedicated many years of his life to working at Mississauga Transit, where he formed countless friendships not only as an employee but also as a Shop Steward ATU Local 1572. Kwesi was a man of many passions. He loved football, barbecuing, and hosting gatherings. He was a lifelong Miami Dolphins fan, Go Fins! His big personality and infectious laughter were a constant presence at every event. A true jokester, Kwesi loved to laugh and to make others laugh. He had a deep love for music and singing, and while his vocal talents might not have matched his enthusiasm, his spirited performances were always a source of amusement. Known for his sociable nature, Kwesi thrived in the company of others. He was always happy, exuding a positive and helpful demeanor. He would give you the shirt off of his back, and never hesitated to lend a hand and help anyone in any way he could. Kwesi could make friends wherever he went, and he treasured spending time with his family above all else. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Thinking of your family and remembering Kwesi picking the kids up at school. As soon as the kids came out the door and saw him they would run over to him so fast with great big smiles on their faces and give him huge hugs. It was so cute and heartwarming to watch.
