Beverley Alice Philp

Obituary of Beverley Alice Philp
Passed away peacefully, with her loving family by her side on May 2, 2024 at the age of 89. Beverley is now reunited with the love of her life, Carl, after 26 years apart (Nov. 22, 1997). She was a beloved mother to Karen Stocker (Dave), Cheryl Crawford (Don), Deanna Poulin (Gil) and Peter Philp (Lisa De Soto). Cherished grandma to Doug (Sherry), Michelle, Jeremy (Kristine), Julie (Brad), Robert (Kuba), Simon, Luke, Noah. Proud GG to Kara, Finn and Lincoln. Beverley was a much loved sister to Carol Ann (Basil) and Ken (Jane). She was also a dear sister-in-law to the late Patricia, Shirley (the late Bob), Claudia (Chuck), and Craig. Beverley will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Rena and brother-in-law Ray.Beverley retired from a life of service, dedicating 20 years to working with the Red Cross as a Homemaker and Caregiver, a role she fulfilled with compassion and selflessness. An avid hockey fan, Beverley's allegiance to her beloved Toronto Maple Leafs knew no bounds. Beverley enjoyed travelling, and was able to see so much of the world on her numerous cruises. She also revelled in time spent at the cottage with her family up in the Muskokas. Beverley's life revolved around her family, and her children and grandchildren were the center of her universe. She will be remembered as a woman of unyielding honesty, never hesitating when it came to speaking her mind. She navigated her life with grace, and her calm presence was a source of comfort to all who know her.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff at NHS-St. Catharines for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Beverley's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at The Loft, 123 Queenston Street (Upper level), St Catharines on Wednesday, May 8 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a tribute to Beverley taking place from 3:30-4:00 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
