Obituary of Yvonne Jane Milne
Surrounded by family, love and prayers, Yvonne passed away peacefully at St. Michael’s Hospital on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the age of 56. We have comfort knowing that she is in the hands of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Yvonne is the beloved wife of Russell, mother to Elizabeth, Joshua (Rikki) and Ethan and a loving Oma to Brayden and Michelle. She was also a cherished daughter of Jerry and Mary Hobers, dear sister to Raymond (Cathy), George (Sherry), Ed (Denise), Hilda (Dave), Doreen (Fred) and sister-in-law to Andrew (Stacy). Yvonne was a beloved niece, cousin and aunt to many whom she held dear. She will be missed by her friends, especially by her fur baby Pepper. Yvonne was predeceased by her brother Paul, sister-in-law Pauline (George), and her parents-in-law Arthur and Elizabeth Milne.Yvonne was welcoming to anyone who walked into her cozy home and she found the greatest joy in entertaining her family and friends. She was an excellent cook and loved preparing meals for those she loved. Yvonne had the best moments in life with her family, especially when they all went camping to Grand Bend.
Together with her husband, Russell, they owned and operated Hometown Coffee Services for over 32 years. Recently they proudly retired from their business after many years of working with their wonderful customers and meeting friends throughout Niagara.
We are grateful for God’s strength and love as he carries us through this difficult time and we give Him thanks for sharing Yvonne’s beautiful life with us and for the memories we have.
A special thank you to all the attending nurses and doctors at Welland General Hospital and St. Mike’s Hospital for their excellent care and support.
In accordance with Yvonne’s wishes, cremation has taken place and arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. A memorial service to lovingly remember Yvonne’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 10 a.m. at Harbour Fellowship Church, 51 South Service Rd, St. Catharines, followed by coffee and refreshments in the church's atrium. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to a charity of your choice.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to Milne family. Wishing you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
We met Russ and Yvonne through our love of Boston Terriers. Since our first interactions we consider Yvonne as. Close friend. She was a kind soul. During our few interactions over the years we enjoyed their company. My heart is broken for Russ and his family as well as for Pepper whom I know Yvonne adored and cherished. May God keep her close and may she Rest In Peace!
