Obituary of William "Bill" Brooks

With great sadness we announce that William "Bill" passed away at the age of 58, on Tuesday, December 24, 2024, at NHS - St.Catharines Hospital. Bill leaves behind his wife and best friend friend Tammy and his sons John and Kris. Cherished brother to John (Melanie) Brooks, Bonnie (Joe) Nepp, Tammy (Carl) Hill, Patty (George) Brooks and Melisa (Dave) Holmes. Also remembered by his aunts Anne (the late Roly) McIntee and Kathy (Richard) Boice. Brother-in-law to Skip (Joeanne) McGregor and Dan (Jacqui) McGregor. He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret Brooks, in-laws Murray and Marylou McGregor, sisters Beth Brooks and Debra Gregg and brother-in-law Roger Hill. Bill will be greatly missed by all his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and by his extended family and friends.

Bill loved his family gatherings and had a passion for racing. As an owner or helper to other racing teams, he had met and enjoyed new and old friends. His memory will be cherished and loved. In accordance with Bill's wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his life will be held in the new year. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or Diabetes Canada.
