l knew Bill when we were kids and into our teens. l am from NOTL but spent alot of time visiting family in Niagara Falls where Bill was their neighbour. l have nothing but fond memories of my childhood and Bill was a part of that for years. l am very sorry to hear of his passing. My thoughts are with you, his family at this time.
I had the pleasure of working with Bill at Simcoe Street School. He was a kind, thoughtful man who was quick with a smile, took an enormous amount of pride in his work and was the first to pitch in to help. When I was going through a difficult time, he was a compassionate ear and always had encouraging words for me. I am so very sorry to hear of his passing and I am sending much love to his family. He was such a good man.
I worked with Bill years ago as his Supervisor. This was a man that needed no supervision. A man who was liked and respected by Principals, Teachers and students for his kind and easy going manner.
I am saddened to read of his early passing. My deepest condolences to his wife and family..
Sandra, Helen & Linda.
Your Westlane Family was so saddened to hear about Bill. We always hoped that Bill would return to Spartan Country. But you know what we say, once a Spartan, always a Spartan. Please know we miss you and are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our condolences Sandra to you and your family RIP Bill
I had the pleasure of working with Bill for 6 years at Simcoe Street School when I was the Principal there. Bill was such an essential part of our school, but always kept himself in the background. He was one of the most dedicated and hard working people that I worked with during my career. He took great pride in his work and our school. It was always spotless. Bill always spoke very fondly of his family and it was clear to me that he was very much a family man. I am so sad to hear of his passing – too soon, he deserved better. My thoughts are with his family.
Sandra, Linda and family, my thoughts, prayers and heartfelt caring are with you at this time. Stay strong.
A kind and gentle man with a good work ethic, a helpful neighbor, it wasn’t two weeks ago we all saw him outside painting his house. They don’t come any better than him..

I only heard good things about “Brother Bill” from Sid years ago when I was Sid’s teacher. Only knowing Sid, I can see how he took after Bill’s caring personality that was learned by example. Thank you for being that special big brother to Sid who looked up to you in so many ways.
