Obituary of Wilfred Gribben

GRIBBEN, Wilfred Thomas (Tom) "Gribby"
Died suddenly on June 2, 2019 at home. Age 71
My dad dedicated his life to providing for and caring for his family. Dad spent a lot of time teaching me all of life's lessons. My dad worked hard for over 40 years for the City of St. Catharines in Forestry, Parks, and Maintenance depts. His last assignment was painting the historic carousel in Port Dalhousie before he retired. Dad enjoyed his crossword puzzles, sports, music, and nature. Born in Drummondville, Quebec to Margaret and James Sr. Married to Caroline, father of Lori-Lynn and "grandpa" to the cats, Tina, Ginger, Ice, and Marty. He is survived by siblings Janet and Jimmy and several nieces and nephews. A private visitation with immediate family has taken place along with cremation as per dad's wishes. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Wheels of Hope Program (Canadian Cancer Society), or Princess Margaret Hospital. Please also consider donating blood and make sure you sign your organ donation card. Dad was "something, he was something else". Dad was my hero. I love you dad. Love Dah (your gift).
