Obituary of Harold "Wayne" Jacobi

Harold "Wayne" Jacobi, known for his infectious humor and zest for life, passed away on Saturday September 30, 2023, surrounded by love and comfort, following a brief illness. Left to mourn are his loving daughters, Karen Page (Brad) and Chalene Johnson (Mike), cherished "Gramp-ass" to Christopher, Lukas and Nathan and a beloved "Papa" to Mike, Emmett, Everleigh and Damon. He is also remembered by his siblings, Joanne Terryberry (Joe), Carol Jacobi, Brian Jacobi and Leslie Jacobi. He was a dear uncle and great uncle to many. He shared an enduring friendship with his best friend, Gayna. He was greeted with a cold beer (no doubt) by his son, Steven Robertson (2018) and his brother Kevin (2010).

Wayne had an incredible sense of humor, finding laughter in every situation. He was always prepared with a joke up his sleeve. He enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including a cold beer, fishing, a deep love for vintage cars from the 1950s and trains. He was the life of every party and would interrupt a conversation to turn up the radio if a song by Nirvana came on. He also enjoyed watching horror and western movies. Wayne also had a passion for playing pool and played in leagues in Niagara. You could always find him tinkering around with electronics and finding things to fix around the house. If he couldn't find what was needed, he would make it. He had a rough and tough exterior, but he had the softest, kindest heart. Always willing to help wherever he was needed. The family extends their gratitude to Community Care Nurses, Liliya and Antoinette, for their exceptional care.

In keeping with Wayne’s wishes, he will be laid to rest on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m at Willows Rest 4501 Stanley Ave, Niagara Falls, ON. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's memory to Project Share, an organization that was near and dear to his heart. Wayne's laughter and love will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
