Obituary of Wanda Catherine Melinko
On Thursday July 8 th , 2021 Our Earth Angel Wanda Catherine Melinko (nee Weaver) surrounded by her loving family became a Heavenly Angel after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.Wanda is survived by her loving family, husband Gerry, son Bradley Joseph Melinko, (Jillian), granddaughter Macy Grace, daughter Amanda Lynne McIntosh, granddaughters Brooklyn Elizabeth and Paisley Shane McIntosh.
Wanda is also survived by her loving sister Carol (Lynne) Vincent (David), her brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Kimberley Melinko, nieces Amber Vincent, Jentry Allemano (Melinko), Melissa Roma (Vincent), nephews Joseph Vincent and Michael Melinko. Wanda was predeceased by her parents David Henry (1993) and Doreen (Grace) Weaver (nee Gill) in 2007.
Wanda was a loyal and dedicated employee of the St.Catharines General Hospital for 37 years. She enjoyed travel, her friends and family during her retirement. She was a dedicated and loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and was in her happy place when with her three beautiful granddaughters. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and co-workers.
The Melinko family would like to thank Dr. J. Chauhan, Dr. J. Giesbrecht, Dr. R. Safranyos and the staff of Linhaven Long Term Care (T. Roy Adams) In keeping with Wanda's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services Inc. (905 354 2133)
