Obituary of Walinda Jane Maxine Deschamp

With our minds plagued with "what ifs" and "if onlys" we announce that on Wednesday July 10, 2024 Walinda Jane Maxine Deschamp passed away at the NHS-Welland Site at the age of 52. She has been reunited with her mother and two brothers. Left behind to share her story are her three children, 7 grandchildren and her brother.

Walinda had a passion for being in the outdoors as well as fishing. She was a fan of rock music particulaly the sounds of Nickleback and The Tragically Hip.

Her family wishes to send a sincere thank you to the staff at NHS-Welland Site for their care during the short time that Walinda was with them.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family inurnment be held at a later date where she will be laid to rest along side her family out East. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services in Welland. If desired, donations in Walinda's memory may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Niagara, The Walker Family Cancer Centre or to SickKids.
