In Loving Memory of
Vivian Gail Grant (née Corbett)
1935-2022
Obituary of Vivian Gail Grant (née Corbett)
Vivian passed away peacefully after a valiant fight against cancer on October 29, 2022. While her passing was quiet and private, Viv’ led a lively, well-connected life, surrounded by friends and loved ones. She is survived by her husband, Albert (Al), and their home was known as “the place to be.” Any “do” came complete with laughter, the best meals, and if you were lucky, a fireworks display. She was quick to offer opinions and advice, which were not always easy to hear, but given with good intentions, helpful, and never sugar coated. She loved music, the colour turquoise, impromptu company, and travelling – where she met many of her friends and created many family memories. She was fashionable, and kept apprised of the latest happenings – even on social media. She would share about her family, what they were up to and how proud she was of them, but rarely sang her own praises unless speaking to her cooking. She leaves behind her two sons Warren (Donna), Scott (Tina), her daughter Alynn (Don), her two granddaughters Jennifer (Shawn) and Diane (Patrick), her great-grandchildren Liam, Olwen, Huxley, Abby and Eli, her sister Ethel, and many nieces and nephews. The Grant family would like to thank the staff at Hospice Niagara for their support and care during her final days. As per her wishes, there will be no ceremony, but donations can be made to Hospice Niagara in her name.Service Information

Vivianne was a beautiful, generous woman and it was our pleasure to meet her with Al in Florida several years ago. We have many fond memories of times around the pool, dining or just having a martini and lively conversation.
Our condolences to Viv’s lovely family at this sad time.
We are sending our love and thoughts to Uncle Albert, Warren, Donna, Scott, Tina, Alynn and Don. Aunt Viv will be really missed.
