Obituary of Victoria Louise White
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Victoria "Vickie" Louise White (née Bellefleur) on December 4, 2024, at the age of 77, after a long and courageous struggle with illness and its challenges Vickie fought hard until she no longer wished to endure the fight. Throughout her journey, she displayed incredible strength, grace, and resilience, inspiring everyone around her.Born on September 19, 1947, in Niagara Falls to Winnie and Joseph Belefluer, Vickie was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her loving partner of 9 years, Randy Thiesen, her children Doug, Rhonda, Julie, and Michael. She is also cherished by her grandchildren Michelle, Paige, Parker, and Nate. She leaves behind her brothers Ron and Stephen, as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Her lifelong friend of 45 years, Joyce, will miss her dearly.
Vickie was described as spunky, vivacious, funny, beautiful, and vibrant. She had a generous spirit, boundless energy, and an infectious laugh that brightened any room. A dedicated server for 35 years at the Red Lobster in Niagara Falls, she helped open the restaurant and forged many lifelong bonds. After retiring, Vickie continued to touch lives as a hostess at Doc MacGilligan’s, where she created new connections and lasting relationships, including meeting her best friend, Angie.
Vickie lived life to the fullest—always spontaneous, kind, and fiercely loyal to those she loved. She was meticulous about her skincare and was known for her youthful beauty, particularly her radiant, glowing skin. Vickie had a passion for cooking and baking, and she was especially known for her delicious cookies and banana bread.
Her love for life and her people will be remembered forever. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The War Amps.
In keeping with Vickie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services.
Her laughter will echo in our hearts forever, a reminder of the joy she brought to all who knew her.
