Obituary of Victor Overne Willick
June 12, 1932-August 25, 2021On August 25, 2021 Dad (Papa) passed away peacefully at the age of 89 after a long and accomplished life where he brought so much joy and love to all those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Vic has left a hole in our family that can never be filled, but we find peace in knowing that he is now reunited with his loved ones of whom he always spoke so proudly, including his son Dave, our late brother and uncle, who left us too soon. His children Dan (Val), Doug, Gerald (Sarah), and Tim (Cheryl) as well as his eight grandchildren, Logan, Hailee, Alana, William, Everett, Elise, Emeline and Elliott will miss him so much.
“Uncle Vic”, as he was known to so many, was a founding and honourary member of the Willoughby Fire Department. He was a dedicated and supportive father and grandfather whose family meant everything to him. He was known for his unassuming humour and contagious laugh where he could make you smile without even trying. Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905) 354-2133 have been entrusted with arrangements. A private celebration of Victor’s life will take place at a later date.
