Obituary of Vernon Langlois
Peacefully passed away at the Welland Hospital on Thursday, October 8, 2020, in his 77th year. He is now reunited with his late wife Marjorie (2000) and their son Roderick (1996). Vernon will be greatly missed by his loving daughter Ronda (Craig). He was a cherished Pappy to his grandson Mitch, and to his great-grandchildren Tempress and Dawson. He will be missed by his brother Zig, sister-in-law Lee, and by all of his nieces, nephews and extended family. Vernon was also predeceased by his brothers: Chester, Stephan (Claudette), Clifton (Cecil), Hartley (Janet), and sister-in-law Ethel.Vernon had a passion for old cars. He enjoyed attending car shows and going on the hunt for vintage model cars to add to his forever growing collection. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends. The family wishes to extend a big thank you to the nurses and his doctor at the Welland Hospital, who helped care for Vernon in his final days.
Arrangements have been entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133), and cremation has taken place. An interment will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
