Obituary of Trevor Morris
MORRIS, TrevorPassed away peacefully on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Henley House in St. Catharines.
“God saw you getting tired, a cure not meant to be. So He put his arms around you and whispered…”Come to Me”. It broke our hearts to lose you, but we know you are in Peace. We treasure the beautiful memories we have, and you will always be in our hearts. We love you.”
Trevor is survived by his wife and best friend of 33 years, Nancy Delvecchio. Devoted and proud dad of Darcy (Lindsay) of Fort Erie, and father to Kathleen (Garett) of Kelowna, B.C., and Sean of Nanaimo, B.C. Grandpa Trevor to Paige, Axel and Knox. Dear brother of Ray (Deb) of Saskatoon, and will also be remembered by his nephew Nathan (Nikki), and their family Felix and Ruby. Trevor had a passion for playing the trumpet, he participated in the Lincoln and Welland Regiment Band. Though, his greatest pleasure was being with his family and taking care of them. A special thank you to Dr. Paolone, especially Dr. Rabin, who gave us many more years with Trevor. Also, our family would like to express our appreciation to the team at Henley House and to all of Trevor’s PSWs, for their compassionate care and support. In accordance with Trevor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. His ashes will be spread at Inspiration Point, in Saskatoon, at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). Trevor fought Parkinson’s Disease for the last 20 years, so as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be given to the Steve Ludzik Parkinson’s Clinic through the Hotel Dieu Shaver Hospital. Online condolences may be shared on Trevor’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.
“May the road rise up to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face; the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand.”
