Obituary of Tammy Roxanne Johnson

Tammy Johnson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away on October 15, 2023, at the age of 65. Tammy will be lovingly remembered by her spouse, Dwayne Ferguson. She was a loving mother to her children: Chris Johnson, Michelle Johnson, Katie Ferguson, and Amy Ferguson. As a grandmother to numerous grandchildren, she reveled in the joy they brought into her life. Tammy also leaves behind her siblings Pat Stewart and Kelly Clayton and their families.

Born in Niagara Falls, Tammy knew nearly everything about the city, having driven tour buses seasonally for many years. Known for her culinary talents, Tammy was a wonderful cook and baker. Her banana bread, in particular, was legendary, and she always managed to make it perfect. A true homebody, Tammy found solace and contentment in the comfort of her own home. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life, like sharing a drink and enjoying good food with friends.

Tammy's selflessness was unparalleled. She was always available to lend a helping hand and prioritized the needs of her children above all else. Tammy was a strong-willed individual and had a great sense of humour and knew how to make anybody laugh. She will be truly missed and forever remembered.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Tammy's life will be held at Essentials Cremation and Burial Services, 102A-4300 Drummond Road, Niagara Falls on Saturday, November 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
