In Loving Memory of
Stuart A. Wright
1939-2021
Obituary of Stuart A. Wright
In the early morning hours on Monday, May 24, 2021, Stuart passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, at the age of 81. He has been reunited with his beloved wife Donna (2010). A loving father of Christine (Dave) Gava and Colleen (Jay) Jenkins. Proud Grandpa of Garrett, Katie (Matt), AJ (Illiana), Nicky, Tanner, and Great-Grandpa of Alena. Dear brother of Sharon (Al) Robertson. Stuart will be missed by many nieces, nephews and extended members of the Waters family. Stuart was predeceased by his parents Robert and Marcella, sisters Catherine and Doris, brother Tom, and recently by his grandson Mitchell.A lifelong resident of Niagara Falls, Stuart dedicated many years working for General Motors as a millwright. He happily took on an early retirement, which gave him many years to focus on his greatest passion; which was building custom Hot Rods and classic cars. He loved Tuesday nights “Cruisin’ on the Q” and hosting many “Wednesday Party Days” in the garage. He was a member of the Fallsview Hose Brigade, a frequent visitor at car shows, and he enjoyed weekly bowling throughout the years. Stuart will be fondly remembered by many friends and fellow Hot Rodders.
A special thank you to the staff of Cavendish Manor, his medical team at the GNGH, and to Krystal, for providing great care to Stuart throughout his final days and to our family during this difficult time.
In accordance with Stuart’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date when a gathering of family and friends is permissible. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). Memorial donations in memory of Stuart may be given to the Parkinson Society of Canada. Online Condolences may be shared on Stuart's tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.
