Obituary of Steven “Stevie” Joseph (Chef) Biondi
At the age of 53, Steven passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 1, 2021. Steven is survived by his loving older brother Chris and his two loving sisters Tania (Brian), and Marnie (Will) and his daughter Brittany (Cory). He will also be missed by his wonderful nieces, nephews, and all extended family. Steven was predeceased by his parents John and Agnes Biondi.
Steven was born in Kitchener, Ontario on March 9, 1968 and later moved to St. Catharines with his family. He grew up cooking in local establishments and got his Red Seal Chef certification at George Brown College. He worked as a Chef for most of his life. Steven loved trying different recipes and experimenting with a variety of flavours. Cooking for his friends and family brought him a lot of joy. He was very artistic. Some of Steve’s hobbies consisted of reading novels, sketching, and making jewelry. His greatest passion was his motorcycles, and riding with his motorcycle group. Steven was very kind-hearted and will be missed by all who knew him.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-734-1031). Cremation has taken place and a private family graveside ceremony will be held at Victoria Lawn Cemetery, St.Catharines, at 1:00pm on Friday, August 20, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Community Addiction Services of Niagara or The Lincoln County Humane Society Animal Clinic.Online condolences may be shared on Steven’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com.
