In Loving Memory of
Shirley Chapman

Obituary of Shirley Chapman
Shirley Chapman, 75, passed away on April 26, 2023 in Niagara Falls. She was born on April 16, 1948. Shirley was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.Shirley was known for her contagious personality and her ability to make everyone around her laugh. She was a kind and loving woman who always put others before herself. Shirley had an untamed wit and uncontrollable dance moves that never failed to put a smile on the faces of those around her. She was a source of comfort and positive motivation in the lives of those she touched.
Shirley's family was her greatest joy. She was a devoted wife to her husband, William (Billy) Delevich, and a loving mother to her daughter, Lynda Royer. Shirley was a hero to her grandson, Joseph Carbone, and she never failed to make him feel like the most loved grandson on the planet - even if that meant making him mashed potatoes at 6 in the morning. Shirley will be remembered for her endless loving bickering with Bill, her wisdom and guidance to her daughter Lyn, as well as her willingness to go above and beyond for her family.
Shirley was truly a Saint walking the earth, and has become a heavenly angel - looking down from above. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In keeping with Shirley's wishes, cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Niagara Falls Humane Society.

Sending love and peace to you and your family during this difficult time. Although much time has passed since I with my father Gordon. I will always keep the memories we shared at your home all my love ❤️
We are saddened by your loss of Shirley, she was and always will be a part of our close and extended family.
She had the most infectious laughter which when combined with her mom’s green eyes inevitably caused a smile that automatically made the corner of your lips curl up as she caused you to join in her in laughter at the silliest of things.
Shirley was always happy to see and welcome anyone at her door and as you entered the house you could not mistake the smell of a freshly cooked apple pie and her notoriously famous tender crust which she served with a hot steamy cup of coffee or tea to go with it.
She was always quick to tell new stories of her grandson and how well he was doing. He was the thirll of her life.
Our prayers and condolences are with Bill her husband, as well to her daughter Line and grandson Joseph.
Our heart aches for you during this time. We cannot imagine the pain from your loss of Shirley but know that you are in our thoughts at this most difficult time, love from Shelah Chapman (Sister) and her boys Vincent and Shane and finally from Stephen and Heather.
To Lynda, Billy and Joe-Joe ,
Our Mom considered Shirley just part of the family. This pic so beautifully expresses the love this special lady had for Pierrette. Her infectious smile, her Newfoundland roots, her love for the Fifth ave household, are just some of the memories we have of your Momma, your wife Billy and your Grandma Joe-Joe. We are convinced they are smiling down on us.
Know that you remain in our thoughts
With all our love, and condolences,
Norm, Lynda, Christiane and Michelle
