Obituary of Sheila Delores Gagnon
Passed away at Greater Niagara General on Sunday, August 19 at the age of 80. Sheila is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Gary Booker), her son Rick (Colleen) of Calgary, granddaughters, Katherine Gervais and Jackie Gagnon as well as two great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brother, Rev Lutz, sister and brother-in-law, Marilyn and Grant Minard and niece and nephew, Krista Delvin and Darryl Minard. Sheila worked for many years at GNGH in Medical Records, retiring in 1998. Daily life activities and her love of games of all kinds, particularly Bingo and the Casino, were severely limited in recent years due to COPD and lung issues. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will follow at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services. Sheila was truly a gem and always a pleasure to be around. I will remember her for our fun chats, her smile, kindness and caring. She was more than just a client to me, she was a friend. ~ Sarah
