Obituary of Sean Gallagher
Passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 15, 2026 at the age of 66. Sean was a beloved father to Tim (Danielle) and Christina. He was a cherished O'Pappa to Iris, Dierdre, Curtis, James and Edward. He will also be lovingly remembered by many siblings, nieces and nephews and treasured friends.Sean had a deep passion for horticulture, a field in which he spent much of his life working and found great fulfillment. Whether casting a line at a quiet fishing spot, travelling to explore new places, or riding motorcycles in his younger years, he embraced life with a spirit of adventure. He will be remembered for his quick wit, and unwavering optimism — qualities that carried him through life’s challenges.
In keeping with Sean's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be held in the summer. If desired, memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara.

I have known the Gallagher family for quite some time and lived in the same neighborhood around the 70s. Sean always had a great spirit and lived his life to the fullest. I am very saddened to hear of his passing. I remember his smiling face and laughter. All my prayers of healing to his family especially his children
Please accept our condolences for your loss. Although we knew Sean many years ago, the picture in his obituary is exactly as we remember him. His joyful smile and heartfelt laugh are memories we hold.

Dear Christina and Tim and family,
Mike and I were so sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. He was so proud of you both and loved having grandchildren. He was a great neighbour and we will miss him.
My sincere condolences to the family. While I was unable to visit with him during his brief fight over the last few months, my thoughts were with him. A good friend. God speed buddy!
To all his family,
My deepest condolences to you. My heart is broken, too. I see things around my house and kitchen and think “Oh, I was saving that for Sean.” Or “I was going to share that with Sean.” We were always supposed to 1. Go fishing. 2. Go kayaking. 3. Travel somewhere.
At least we had that last trip together to Puerto Plata in Dec. 2024. Of course, it poured on the one day we decided to do a little tour!
I will see you all this summer.
