Obituary of Scotty Patrick Mitchell
Scotty Patrick Mitchell,
It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the sudden passing of Scotty Patrick Mitchell, at the age of 26. A beloved and admired son, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be missed everyday by his loving and devoted mother, Kathy Mitchell, whom Scotty’s passing has left a hole in her heart and soul. Scotty will be deeply missed every second of every day by his siblings; Gregory, Brooke, Mark and Rebecka Mitchell. Admired “Uncle Scotty” to his three nephews; Carter, Mason and Jag. His beautiful loved rescue Dogue de bordeaux and best friend Tessa, will miss him dearly. He is reunited with his grandma and angel Margaret Filice. A light has gone out in everyone’s life that knew Scotty. The memories and moments of Scotty will live on through all that knew and loved him.
Scotty enjoyed being active and working out, he was a free-spirited soul taking frequent trips, bike rides, and spending time outdoors. He loved paintballing with his friends, played Football with his older brother on the Brantford Bison’s team and bowled with his siblings Rebecka and Mark. Scotty adored his first and only dog “Tessa Bear” who was always found smiling in the passenger seat beside him, forcing any human passengers to sit in the back. Scotty will always be known for going out of his way to help anyone that needed it, there was nothing Scotty wouldn’t do for someone. He truly had a heart of gold. Not only was he extremely genuine, caring and loving, he was tremendously smart, hard-working, and successfully owned his own home by the age of 21. His free-spirit and “fighter” attitude brought him success through family, friendships, sports, and his personal life. He loved looking nice day, to day, with designer clothing, sunglasses, and his signature gold jewellery. Scotty had a unique and quirky sense of humour that could fill any room with laughter and fun radiating happiness and humour to anyone around him. To know Scotty was to love him, he was an individual that stood out and shined. Though Scotty struggled throughout his life with mental health, he always fought. God, however, had bigger plans for him, his spirit was truly too good for this world. God needed to bring him home to bring him to peace with the angels. Until we are all reunited again, you will be forever loved and forever missed by so many. Rest in peace with the angels and watch over and protect us from heaven, until we see you again, our angel Scotty.
