Obituary of Roslyn Mary McLean

Born in 1946, in Trinidad and Tobago, to Kathleen Rostant and Anthony Pantin. She passed away at 74 years of age, in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada, on December 19, 2021 from late stage alzheimers. Missed by her loving husband, David, her two children, Alison (Bruce) and Ian, her brother, Richard, and sister, Gillian. Proud grandmother to her two granddaughters, Brenna and Erin. Roslyn was known for her love and devotion to her family and her love of dance. Please note that because Roslyn has family and friends in Canada and in the USA, the family will not be having a memorial service. Instead, they will be having a private family celebration of life at a later date. As an expression of society, memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.

David,Alison,Ian,Bruce,Erin and Brenna.
Thinking of you at this very difficult time and praying that God will be with you and carry you through each new day.
Roslyn and I have been friends for many years……we have spent many hours together…..visiting in each other’s homes……watching our girls at their dance lessons and recitals……..and a wonderful time together in England when she came to visit us.
I am so thankful to have had Roslyn as a very good friend…….we have spent many hours in the by gone days talking on the telephone.
Roslyn had great faith and it is comforting to know that she has gone to be with Jesus…….and I know that I will see her again one day..
Love,Doreen

Dear David, Alison, Ian, Bruce, Erin and Brenna,
My deepest sympathy on your loss of Roslyn. For years when I was a young child in Montreal, Roslyn always welcomed me and made your home feel like a second home to me. I have treasured memories of the times I spent in her company over the years. I hope you will find peace, knowing that she is in a better place and find comfort as you reflect on the precious time you had with her on this earth.
Love,
