Obituary of Rose Hamill

Hamill, Rosemarie Lynn (nee Monague)
It is with great sadness that on July 1, 2019, Rose suddenly walked her stairway to Heaven. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, John Hamill. Rose leaves behind her children, Kathleen Johnson, Elaine Hall, Bob and Ron Hamill and their families. Rose loved and was loved by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren. She is survived by her sister Marilyn, her brother Stan, aunts, uncles, and by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her children, William and Sandra Hamill, her parents, Dave and Kay Monague, also by her brothers Carl, Gord and Billy. Rose loved her cat, Patches, which she had for 16 years. Rose loved to crochet, knit and play bingo. She will be missed by her friends in her apartment building, namely Carol and Leanne. At her request, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at St. John’s Anglican Church, 3428 Portage Rd, Niagara Falls, on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at 11am. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 479 would be appreciated. Online condolences may be shared on Rose’s tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com

Rose was many things to different people…..a Daughter, Sister, Mother, Grandmother, (Great & Great Great Grandmother) a Wife and friend.
She always had a story to tell, funny or sad, she knew how to tell them. She had amazing talents starting at such a young age, sewing, knitting, crocheting and pottery to name a few.
Rose🌹will be missed by many people.
I love you and I will you…….
