Obituary of Ronald "Ron" Climenhage

Ronald Arthur Climenhage was born on February 5, 1941 in Port Colborne, Ontario to Marylin Victoria Jackson Climenhage and Christian Lloyd Climenhage. He was the beloved father of Crystal Lee Climenhage and passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 82 with Crystal by his side, at Welland Extended Care Unit, Welland Hospital site. Ron's other children are Jackie Taylor, Marsha Climenhage and Shane Kurgan. Ron was the cherished grandson of the late Albert Jackson and the late Sophia Nie who raised him. He will be missed by his brother, Frank Boness (Nicky) of Drummondville, Ontario, Aunt Bonnie of Port Colborne and nieces and nephews. Ron also has 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Ron had a passion for hunting and fishing and was known for his musical talent with the fiddle and guitar. He had a keen ear for music and was always willing to lend his talents to anyone in need. Ron's quick wit and jokes will be missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place, and a private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Donations in Ron's memory can be made to Parkinson's Canada. We offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Crystal, I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m glad I got to meet him briefly in hospital. We all had a good laugh at All in the Fanily. Take heart….I knownyou been taking this hard.

Sorry for your loss! To Jackie and Marsha. I have fond great childhood memories! My dad and Ron were two peas in a pod!!! He will be missed!! He left alot of great memories and laughter! Cathy Blanchard, Paul makey s daughter. Xo 🙏
