Obituary of Robin Keith Messer
Robin Keith MesserPassed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 13, 2020, at the age of 64. He will be missed by his children Fawn (Tom), Ken, Jeremy and grandson Hudson. Loving brother of Dave (Kathy), Valerie (Gary) and Mark (Shar) and many nieces and nephews. Robin was predeceased by his parents Elsie and Kenneth Messer. Robin lived life by his own terms and always had a good time. He spent many years working in the shipyards on the Welland Canal and his final years pursuing a post-secondary education. He enjoyed spending his time golfing, fishing, reading, playing pool and made many friends along the way. Thank you to all the health care professionals for showing Robin and his family such kindness and compassion during this difficult time. Arrangements are entrusted with Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905-354-2133). A private family burial will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls.

From Victor Pivoriunas– sending my sincere condolences to Fawn and Kenny and extended family. I worked with Robin for 20 years on ship repair. He helped me through alot and he was very knowledgable and came up north to visit me and go ice fishing and drink beer. We had alot of great times. Miss you forever and I’ll be catching all of your fish in your memory. You will never be forgotten. Love you very much, your friend, Victor Pivoriunas.

It was a true pleasure to meet and get to know Robin as he started on his path to postsecondary education. As a teacher, it was a pleasure to work with Robin, who genuinely wanted to learn and had a curious mind. As a person, it was inspiring to see how to deal with choices and consequences and pursue dreams. My sincere sympathy to all the family.
