Obituary of Robert Samuel Johnson
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Robert on February 25, 2022 at the age of 65. Loving husband and best friend to Karen for 47 years. Cherished father of Chris (Gwen), Samantha, and Matthew. Proud grandfather to Jesse (Miriam), Krystyn, Tyler, Cody (Krystal), Nikyla, Alanah, Reilly, Landon, Madison and great-grandfather to Seth, Isabella, Gage, Cody Jr., Jaxx, Charlotte, Lucas, Liam. Dear brother of the late Charles, Carole (the late Wayne) and Pauline (Bob). Brother-in-law of Sue (Brad) and Debbie (Henry). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Robert was the proud Owner and Operator of Unique Delivery Service for 35 years and will be known for his hard work and dedication to his job. He enjoyed motorcycles (especially his own Harley!), watching TV and going on camping trips with Karen in their RV. Robert will be lovingly remembered for his uniqueness, and for occasionally being a bit of a know-it-all. He was a blessing to his family and will be forever missed.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Rob’s nurse practitioner Danielle for the daily updates she provided, and the ICU staff at the NHS-St. Catharines Site for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Robert’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held at Niagara Orchard Community Church, 5720 Dorchester Rd, Niagara Falls on Saturday, March 5 at 1 p.m. A livestream of the service will be available on the Niagara Orchard Community Church Facebook page (@niagaraorchardsalvationarmy ).
