Obituary of Robert David Simpson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Robert "Dave" Simpson on March 29, 2022 at the Greater Niagara General Hospital at the age of 65. Dave leaves behind his partner Bev Purchase, his two daughters: Kathleen Simpson (Josh Goodman) and Ricci O'Kane (David), his son Robert Simpson, grandchildren Ariya, Roran and Isla and sister Barbara Simpson. Dave was greeted on the other side by his parents Robert "Bob" and Dorothy Simpson.Dave was born in Toronto and moved to the Niagara Region in 1980. He was an electrician by trade who was self taught by experience and owned his own business, Safe Systems. When he wasn't working you could find him sitting in his favourite chair, watching a soccer match with an ice cold Labatt Blue in hand. If there was no soccer match on, you could bet he had a James Bond "007" movie playing. He enjoyed spending time at Dufferin Islands, walking around taking in all of what nature has to offer.
In keeping with Dave's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements have been entrusted to Essentials Cremation and Burial Services (905 354 2133). A Celebration of Dave's Life will be held at a later date. If desired, donations in memory of Dave may be made to the Niagara Falls Humane Society. Online condolences may be shared on Dave's tribute page found at EssentialsNiagara.com
